Wal-Mart is building a new supercenter just outside Lebanon—and just a few feet away from David McCarty’s house. For more than four months David and his family have put up with the dust, the debris, and the noise of 40 to 50 dynamite blasts. According to David, one of the explosions cracked his house’s foundation. Last Wednesday David finally took a stand and stayed in his yard all night to stop the crew from setting off the latest charges. But he had to retreat the next day after Wal-Mart’s high-priced lawyers got a court order. You can stand with David and his family in their fight against Wal-Mart’s bully tactics.
